At 3 to 4 gallons a day, the filter will last 17 to 13 months. The filter will last approximately 17 months if you use 3 gallons per day. If you use 4 gallons a day, it will last about 13 months. There is a filter life counter on the front of the machine and the machine will speak to you to let you know that it is almost time to change the filter.
- Eliminates chlorine, pesticides, including pesticide by-products such as atrazine, industrial solvents (halogenated hydrocarbons), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and chlorinated hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), radon, benzene, arsenic, mercury, lead, metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), taste and odor-forming compounds such as MIB and geosmin, algae toxins, endocrine disrupting compounds (elimination of EDC ) and other micropollutants, pharmaceuticals and personal care products (elimination of PPCP), trihalomethane (THM) compounds such as chloroform and other disinfection by-products (elimination of DBP).
This filter is only suitable for Bawell models bw-6000 or 2195.
