- It is recommended to use a cleaning cartridge
- It is important to monitor your ionizer’s screen, which tells you the status of your filters.
There are also signs to watch out for, which indicate that your filters require replacement. Let’s think about:
- Lower pH levels
- A strange taste
- A machine clogged from the inside
- Abnormal water flow (can damage sensors)
Also, if you haven’t used your water ionizer for a very long time, it’s a strong recommendation to change your filters.

REGULAR OR SUPERIOR FILTER?
Most of the water ionizers offered by Aqualife have a high-end filter with activated charcoal, enhanced with silver (Nano-silver).
This regular filter acts as an antimicrobial, antiseptic and antibacterial. It allows you to remove hundreds of chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in tap water. Here are a few:

A good regular filter has a lifespan of about 3000 to 8000 liters or 12 to 18 months. First come first.
